Pet & House Sitting
Being on vacation is supposed to be an enjoyable, stress free time. I try to make the time as stress free as possible for you and your pets!!
There are multiple types of sitting options available, as well as an ability to change any of them to suit your particular family needs. Below is a list of all the general options that are available, as well as why that option is differs from the others
All options include:

Fresh food and water
-
Potty breaks and clean up including litter box clean out for the kitties

A small play session (15 minutes) (or extra cuddle time if they don’t want to play)

Lots of love, cuddles, and pets.

A daily email or text on how your pet did that day

A log at the end of the visit that notates appetite, any changes in bowel movements, when exercise was
done, more in depth information of how everything went while you were gone. Photos will follow in an
email in a few days.
House care:
-
bringing in the mail (and newspapers if you receive them)
-
Plant watering (up to 4 plants)
-
Taking trash to the curb on trash day
-
Take out the trash at the end of the visit

​Do you ever worry about your furbaby not getting the correct medication while you are gone?
Special Needs Pets
If you have concerns about medications your pet will need while you are on vacation you are certainly not the only one! Many people worry over their vacation about how their furbaby is doing.
Since I have worked in the veterinary business for years, you do not need to worry about the medications being given incorrectly to your pet. While you are gone, I make sure to notate every medication that is given, as well as when it is given. Any changes in personality, health, ability to get around or anything out of the ordinary is notated. I evaluate if your pet needs to be taken care of immediately or if it is ok to wait and talk with you as soon as I can contact you.
Every other day sitting
This is great option for reptiles who do not need every day care, it is a half hour visit where I change their water, check their substrate, heat source, and how they are doing. This is also available if you want them to get some sun time in!
This option is also available for cats who are in good health and not on any medications.
This is a good option for those who need someone to stay for 8 hours, very helpful for animals who don’t like to be alone, who are still training, or who like to play with someone for short spurts but often.
The big plus of this sitting option is it is very useful for after surgery care if you want someone to stay with your pet as they are recovering.
Day Sitting
Sleeping in your home with your animals is a good option for pets with multiple medications, a multi pet household, farm settings or pets that would sleep better with a person to cuddle with.
This option does include up to 4 oral or topical medications and up to 3 animals. It is typically a 12 hour stay, more time can be available, but 12 hours minimum.
Overnight sitting appointments are only on a first come, first serve basis you may contact me for availability dates. Please do not be discouraged if I am unavailable, there are still other options available to care for your pets.
Overnight Sitting
I have the ability to care for multipule 'unusual' types of animals. Some types I have personally owned and others I have learned to care for through different past times.
Pocket pets such as rats, mice, guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, sugar gliders, ferrets, and hedgehogs.
Reptiles I am comfortable with small or large snakes, small or large lizards, turtles, and tortosies.
Farm animals include horses, sheep, goats, cows, hogs, and chickens.
Birds I can care for large or small, i have experiance with all but the large macaws.
